  Mambo is a highly scalable content management system, too rugged and dependable. php Nuke is another CMS built on the lines of dotnetnuke.

  Both are CMS but the difference lies in their developement and support. Mambo is being much more developed and supported than php Nuke, and Mambo is much more professional grade.
