I would just like to ask what is the best way of concealing MySQL details when used in PHP. Yes, I know the end-user cannot see PHP code, though all I have at the moment is a “toolbox” of functions I include in all my pages to make my life easier – of which contains a MySQL connect function – this is to prevent me from individually putting it into my files.

The include file is also chmodded correctly so that only the script can read from it; nothing else.

However.. are there steps/measures I should take to further increase my security?
