I do not use index.html or index.htm, and I have index.php. It just shows “index of /”… I’m using cPanel 10.. please help!!

I need the the details of the provider. The server should be US based, LINUX (specially) where I can resell the reseller accounts to my clients by giving them WHM/cpanel. The price should be very competitive and affordable. I am from Nepal and it would be better if I don’t need to do the business with Credit Card as the facility is not available in Nepal (International CC). The server should have better datatransfer/ bandwidth, audio video streaming facility, POP email accounts, PHP,MySql, CGI-bin etc…

This is a totally simple bulletin board. We have a header already, and a typical linux/php/mysql setup (with cpanel if that matters).
The URL will not be publicly available, so we don’t need security.

The page says:
Welcome
Your Name:
What are you grateful for? (big text box, we can play with the dimensions]
Submit!

And then says

Here are the Responses from Your Community:
[and the lists the previous responses. This might look like:]

I’m really grateful for my two kids.

at the bottom have the form again for the person to enter
Once people submit the page, they go to a page that looks just like the one above, but without the text box.

Am I allowed you paypal you $20 for the answer? I surely would, and be grateful for it!

My friend is leasing his own server for the first time, and he has given me a reseller account. I would like to run a web host off of my reseller account, but the server does not have the latest version of CPanel, PHP, or MySQL, nor does it have Python installed.

I do not have admin access to the server, but my friend does. He told me that he would upgrade all of these things for me if I could find out how. So here I am!

If somebody could provide some kind of instructions…is it done through WHM?
