Is PHP a quick and easy way to get a web site running which also needs to access a database?
A friend approached me to build a website for a small school. The website needs to access a database since the requirement is that the names and details of all the present and former pupils should be accessible from the website. I am at present learning PHP and MySQL. Is PHP and MySQL good enough to get it done, or are there better options? I can get about 2 months time to finish the project.
