I keep getting job related pop-ups on my computer?

Ever since I started browsing through jobs a few days ago, there has been a google add that pops up:

This is obviously a scam and I would like it to stop. I didn’t download anything (that I know of) since I started searching, and Firefox’s pop-up blocker is on.
Also, this one just came up as I was typing.

It is very annoying and I am in fear for my computer’s security. Any ideas?

Jobs: What Are The Best Jobs To Apply For Long Term Security?

Over the years I’ve studied to install PHP Software, creat on page SEO and link building. However, it seems as if nobody is paying good $$$. They are hiring people from India. So, I recently was hired to help run a 48 unit apartment complex. I’d like to go back to college and become certified for real estate and property management.

Mean while, I moved to Los Angels and have been living here for 3 months. I could use a long term job. Those $8.00-14 an hour jobs are not going to cut it in LA. While real estate seems to be down due to the economy issues. Also, SEO seems to be decreasing due to the fact people are hiring those from India for cheap $$$.

This leads me to ask the question. What jobs out there would be best for me to apply for? I want a job that pays $15-50 an hour. If I need to go back to college, so be it. Please help.

What are jobs in security, law enforcement, video surveillance like?

I’m thinking about applying to a job that’s all about security, video surveillance, more specifically corporate security.

Would anyone recommend this type of job?

I saw reviews on CareerCritique and I was wondering if this is typical:

Good idea for a way to make some money on the side?

Hi all, I’m almost seventeen and I really want a car of my own. However, I don’t have a job. Nor do I want one. I’m not into the mundane jobs I could get as a high school student. I have been messing with computers since I was a little kid. I’ve taught myself html, css, java, visual basic, c++, perl, and php. I also manage my own Linux-based server at home and I have built multiple computers and study network and computer security frequently. Anyway, I have seen how people will pay Geek Squad (from BestBuy) hundreds of dollars to do absolutely nothing to their computers. I got to thinking…what if I could do something like that? My question is, do you think this is a feasible business idea? Could I leave fliers in upper-middle class house’s doors and offer a service to make Windows-based computers faster, secure wireless networks, upgrade hardware, or do any of the stuff the average consumer is too afraid to/can’t do? Would you trust a sixteen year old with this? Even if I made a up contract? If so, how much money do you think is fair? Anything I’m not thinking of? Thanks for your input.

“With no jobs, there is no reason to be here will the illegals start self deporting?

WASHINGTON: Employers across the U.S. are preparing to fire workers with questionable Social Security government identification numbers to avoid getting snagged in a Bush administration crackdown on illegal immigrants.

The Department of Homeland Security is expected to make public soon new rules for employers notified when their worker’s name or Social Security number was flagged by the Social Security Administration.

The rule, as initially drafted, requires employers to fire people who cannot be verified as a legal worker and cannot resolve within 60 days why the name or Social Security number on their W-2 doesn’t match the government’s database.

Employers who do not comply could face fines of $250 to $10,000 (€180 to €7,300) per illegal worker and incident.

“There’s a lot of fear and anxiety about what this rule is going to mean, particularly in the agricultural sector,” said Craig Regelbrugge, spokesman for the American Nursery and Landscape Association and co-chairman of the Agriculture Coalition for Immigration Reform.

The Social Security Administration has sent “no match” letters to workers and their employers notifying them of the information discrepancies for years. Its goal has been to make sure money withheld from a person’s paycheck is credited to the correct worker. http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/08/02/america/NA-GEN-US-Immigration-Employer-Crackdown.php
I know it is difficult to believe, that maybe our elected are beginning to listen to the American people. I do, however, take this news with not a grain of salt but a half ton of salt. I hope this news is correct. I too would like to see some actions, instead of words.
Removing the illegals is one way our intelligence groups can find out who and what is in here, and where these people have massed.

Lives could be saved and possibly another attack on this nation and this nation’s citizens could be averted. The averting of an attack(s), or disruption of a planned attack, is the primary reason I believe the citizens may see some movement. I too hope the nation’s citizens will see movement to secure our borders, and removal of those who broke our law(s) to be here. I hope I am correct. These types of actions would be prudent and justified at this present time, in our nation’s history.
