how to process a request in PHP?

How to process the REQUEST that comes in the /DocumentRoot/demo folder? The request will come from the IMG tag. ie IMG src=”http://a.bcd.co.jp/demo/A.jpg”
There will be no php script to be called. The php script will be called when a request comes to /demo and a jpeg file in the URL.
I have a java servlet class that is needed to be coded　in PHP.

I need to process the image coming from the REQUEST of an IMG tag.

HTML Code example:
CODEIMG=”http://a.abc-efg.co.jp/demo/Sample.jpg”

From this URL, a request comes in for the Sample.jpg to be displayed. But before this image be displayed, some process should be done first at the back-end, then the right size of the image should will be displayed.

A php script will not be called from this IMG tag. The trigger would be the REQUEST..

I have done this in java by using a Filter class and filter mapping in the web.xml file.

I not am sure this can be done in PHP.

Is someone else experiencing the same difficulty or is it just me?
Fanfiction has always been a major part of my life.. =(
I’m unable to update my stories! And I really miss reviewing my favorite chapter!

Oh, PHEW! I’m pleased to know I’m not alone..

Yeah..That effing ‘technical glitch’ is getting on my nerves! Its been like this for a day now! And nope, I don’t think hackers have something to do with it.

You mean to say they target ALL of our accounts?
So, um, yeah.. I just hope the problem is resolved soon! Good luck to everyone..

How would I repeat a GET request forever from a home PC?

I don’t care how I have to do it… I want to prove to my friend, who has this voting thing on his forum, that you can script something like this.

And there is no limit to how many votes a person can do, no registration, no IP logging, no randomly generated track thingy, etc etc. Crap security.

How would I like use something like PHP or maybe even JavaScript to do this? I’m running BackTrack 3 (lol plz dont think im a skiddie…) from a USB. In my friend’s house.

And as an additional question… if I have a free web host (mine is blackapplehost), could I make it do this for me?
Must be a simple question for any of you scriptin gurus…
This is where Im starting, this is where i’ll start to learn CGI, PHP, whatever… right now… (*yay*)
